What materials will you need for your project? Spheros

What is your plan to create in this project? to program the shpherps to go in a shape thing

What unique qualities will your project have? awesomeness

• Using spheros, I created spheros bowling because i thought it would be easy, and it looked cool. Turns out I was wrong, and that making spheros knock over tiny bowling pins is actually pretty hard.

• During this process, I learned how to drive spheros and get them to bowl. We had to aim it perfectly so they could hit the pins, which was actually pretty hard

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I made decisions about my learning because I chose to work with spheros and what I was going to do with them.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting our sphero minis to hit all the mini bowling pins. I was able to do it by well it wasn't too hard, i just had to aim at/in the right angle.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the videos. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't really like how the videos played out (not that i'm complaining, I really don't mind it). I think if we had more time, we could've done something more with the videos, such as maybe reshooting to get better quality, or make it cooler, etc.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in robotics engineering, robotics technician, sales engineer, and more. It connects to those careers because they all have to do with engineering/coding/programming/controlling robots, and that's what we did with the robots.
