Daily Log:

Hour 1.) i started on lesson one and got to the Map making introduction

Hour 2.)  i finished lesson 1 and 2

Hour 3.) I finished everything in the project

• Using studio code, I created i sprite who can talk when he touches landmarks, because i thought that would be cool.

• During this process, I learned how to make sprites talk when they touch a landmark.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because  i learned how to code sprites to talk on touch.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was matching coordinates. I was able to do it by watching a video.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change what the sprites said. The reason why I would change it is because they say boring sentences.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
