A digital citizen is someone who can recognize the rights, responsibilities, and opportunities of living, learning and working in an interconnected digital world. Digital citizens engage in positive, safe and legal space while working, they also want to have that behavior while working. They demonstrate a good understanding of anything there learning.
Knowledge Constructs are students that critically curate a variety of resources using digital tools to construct knowledge, produce and create artifacts and make meaningful learning experiences for themselves and others. Knowledge Constructors can plan and employ research strategies for others around them. They can also evaluate the accuracy, perspective, credibility, and relevance of information, media, data or other resources.
Innovative Designers are students that know and use a deliberate design process for solving ideas, testing theories ect. They can select and use digital tools to plan and manage a design process that considers design constraints and calculated risks. Finally they can develop, test, and reine prototypes as a part of a cynical design process.
Computational thinkers are students that can formulate problem definitions suited for technology assisted methods like data analysis, abstract models ect. Computational thinkers can collect data and/or identify relevant data sets and use them. Finally students can develop and employ strategies for understanding and solving problems.
Creative Communicators are students who can choose the appropriate platforms and tools for meeting the desired objectives of their creation or communication. They can create original works or responsibility repurpose. They can communicate complex ideas to each other clearly and effectively or using a variety of digital objects such as visualizations, models or simulations.
Global Collaborators are students that can use digital tools to connect with learners from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, engaging with them in ways that broaden mutual understanding and learning. They can use collaborative technologies to work with others, including peers, experts, or community members, to examine issues and problems from multiple viewpoints. And finally they can contribute constructively to project teams, assuming various roles and responsibilities to work effectively toward a common goal.
