Using a broken monitor and hot glue, I created a car out of an old monitor because i wanted to be creative about this project.
During this process, I learned how to take apart a monitor .
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because from a old monitor a created a car.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding the right tools. I was able to do it by asking for help.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change nothing. The reason why I would change it is because i like the way my project turned out.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Engineering Design because i made a car from almost nothing and i would consider that engineering design.
