Today we created the page for the website and we did the list of 10 ideas.
today we did our planning questions and we made our stories. Then we started making them on the cube.
Today I redid my story and we started on the website.
Today I started making my cube and I have a good idea on what to do and I started making two of the sides
I got mostly done on my cube but I am going to be adding other details on it.
Today I made the final side of my merge cube, the bottom of it.
we started to try to record our merge cubes on the ipads but we had to wait out turns, i didnt finish the video yet.
Today I finished up recording our Merge cubes and doing a voice over and telling our story.
I made a race car driver and another driver driving around the track with accidents happening and then ending with her going home as a winner
Using Cospaces, the merge cube and the ipads I created a race car driver story, with a female driver named Penelope. Occurring accidents happen. It starts with the podium and shows that she is 1st place and that her opponent got 2nd. In the middle part it shows that they got into a crash/accident because opponent 2 crashed into Penelope, because I think that race cars and race car drivers are cool to learn about and experiment with. I personally also think that it is very cool to watch.
During this process, I learned how to use the merge cubes and how you can't just set the merge cube down and expect it to project onto the cube, you have to use your hands and you have to move slowly to get it to the right side and to do the things that you want it to do. You also have to be very careful when you are turning it so it doesn't glitch out and go to the wrong side.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to the digital Multi Media CTE program, because when you import the images from the daily log, you are using digital mulit media. When you voice over the video that also ties to digital Multi media. And lastly when you insert all your text you are using Digital Multi media.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not being able to get the cube on the right side when I was recording it because it kept glitching and lagging so all you could see was the black cube and it kept coming and going. I was able to do it by taking my time when I was recording the Merge Cube and waiting when it kept glitching in and out and not just ending the video to start again.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my story and add more details on the road sides The reason why I would change it is because I feel like the road sides were very bland and plain when the cars were by it. I would also change my story because I at first didn't know what type of a story that I would want to do and I just thought of one of my favorite things or something that I find cool to watch.

My project connects to the Digital Multi-Media CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Graphic designer because being a Graphic Designer includes having to combine art and technology to communicate there or others ideas through the layout or the theme of websites or other web pages. This ties into my project because I feel like we did a lot of that when we jotted down some of our ideas on our lists of ten and when we all were thinking of some ideas on the final story that we wanted to do.
