7P1 - Video Project

Reflection

• Using iMovie and an iPad, I created a movie about things I like because I want people to know what I like and learn about me.

• During this process, I learned how to make a video on iMovie, and add sound effects and audio recordings.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructer because I had to design something that showed I understood the topic.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was making it between 30 and 60 seconds. I was able to do it by shortening the pictures that I wanted so the video was a good length. Another challenge was that I kept getting kicked out of my video when I was editing.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change my voice recordings. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't give myself enough time to do good ones so they don't sound very good. I would also change the fact that I too long to find photos. 

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Director.
