DAY 1
thought of something to make. did list of 10 and planing questions.
DAY 2
got set on what to make. designed it
day 3
had to fix pins so they will fall over
day 4
took video and did reflection
Using the 3d printer, I created a bowling ball and pins because i thought it would be fun. My pins will be the same size as each other. My ball will be slightly bigger but my pins will all be small enough so they will fall over.
During this process, I learned why bowling balls are shaped the way they are.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties innovative designer because i had to use my knowledge to figure out and shape my pins so they would fall over perfeclty.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing why bowling pins were shaped the way they are. I was able to do it by asking freinds and google then i came up with a design.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change having to create my own pins. The reason why I would change it is becauseit was difficult.
