Using robots, I created multiple projects because it was what needed to happen. Also you got extra credit for doing all four projects.
During this process, I learned how to use common codes to make robots work.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I chose how to create my project and in what order I would do it in.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learner how to program a robot to draw. I was able to do it by using tutorials.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the codes on the projects because some were difficult. The reason why I would change it is because it was very hard to make a robot draw a word correctly.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in coding/programming.
