Description of cyberbulling stopmotion The video is about 2 people playing a video game. One of them is a bully, and one of them is kind. The bully keeps pushing the kind person off of the parkor course, making it impoossible to get to the end. Eventually, the kind person does get to the end, and pushes the bully off. The video then cuts to the real life, where the kid who was playing the game as the kind person tells his mom what happened, and his mom is proud of him for standing up for himself, they then both drive away
For my project, I used iMotion, iMovie, my computer, and my iPad to create a Lego stop-motion video about cyberbulling. I chose to make this video because I wanted to show how cyberbulling is wrong. I also wanted to do this topic because I felt like I had been cyberbullied before, and knew how to recreate something similar.
During this process, I learned How to make stop motion better. I also learned how to make the animations of the characters look smoother. This made the video blend together better.
The 7standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project connects most to the standard called Creative Communicator. It fits this standard because we used stop motion to show someone getting cyberbullied and standing up for himself, which communicates a story in a creative and visual way.
One challenge I overcame during this project was that our Ipad kept falling over. We fixed this by putting the iPad in a container. This helped the iPad to not tip over. Because of this, Our video ended up being more stable.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way we held up our Ipad. I would change this because even though we made the iPad more study, the Ipad still could fell easily. This caused us to have to resposition it again.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. It ties to this because you can only view it on a screen.
My project connects to a career in animation because animators are responsible for moving characters and objects in each frame to make them look like they’re really moving. They bring characters to life using a series of still images. I did this in my project by making the Lego people climb a mountain, one picture at a time.
