An about me video that includes my favorite video games, sports I like, my least favorite foods, my favorite restaurants.

Day 1

I created my website tab for this project and answered the planning questions and list of 10 ideas.

Day 2

I learned how to use Google and how to use the iPads for my project .

Day 3

I found at least 15-20 images for my video, and then I learned how to put them into iMovie.

Day 4

I found more photos for my iMovie and then I added text to my images.

Day 5

I added music and sound effects to make my video more entertaining.

Day 6

I edited my iMovie and recorded some voice overs for my video. Then I put it on my website.

Reflection on my project:

Using iMove, an iPad, Creative Commons Pictures, Music, and Sound Effects. I created a movie of my favorite candies, video games, sports, and foods I dislike because I really like these things and they are special to me.
During this process, I learned how to make a movie on the iPad. I also learned how to insert voice recordings and sound effects to my video. I also learneed how to change the filters of my pictures in my video.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I am sharing my projects and ideas with the world. Via webstie.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not being able to upload my video to my drive. I overcame this by moving closer to the router and turning my iPad off and on again. This turned out to work and it made my video upload.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the filters I chose. The reason why I would change it is because you can't see what the images say in my video. I may also add more voice recordings and sound effects.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in film editing because they select pictures and put them into a video. They also edit scenes to make them shorter or longer. They can also write voice overs and sound effects.
