Today I looked at other peoples VR world and worked on my list of 10 and finished my 3d print. I also worked on my planning questions for my VR World. This project sounds like a lot of fun and im exited to see what I can create

Today I finished my list of 10 and planning questions. I also looked at how my 3d print turned out. I started my VR world but I didn't work on it much. All I did was insert a dinosaur and made it look like it was running.

Today I started on the terrain of my world. I decided to make something like jurassic park. I figured out how to code a dinosaur to move .It is looking good so far.

Today I worked more on my terrain for my Dinosaur park. I added a flying Dinosaur and made it move in the sky. It is comming together really well. Im going to probbably add more characters.

Today I decided to make it where you have to try to out-run the T-rex . I also added an encloser pen for the plant based dinosaurs. Im going to make one where the dinosaur chasing you escaped.

Today I made it where a car moves around the map. I also added a parkor stage where you can try to get away from the T-rex chasing you. I also added a white T-Rex that is flying away with balloons. I think it is pretty cool so far.

Today I made more of the Parkor Obby. I made it where if you touch the dinosaur chasing you, it respawns you. I also worked on a winners area foir escaping
7p8This is my VR world. I made an Parkour course/obby where you have to complete it and escape a T-Rex chasing you. You click the yellow button at the beginning to start the chase. I also coded a pterodactyl flying in the sky, a t-rex flying with balloons, a jeep driving around, and the t-rex chasing you. When you finish the Parkour course, you click the red button at the top to end the game. it turned out really cool.

My Reflections:
Using my iPad and CoSpaces, I created a virtual reality world. I created this because I wanted my own version of Jurassic Park. I also created this because I thought a game where you have to escape a dinosaur sounded really fun.
During this process, I learned How to code things to move. I also learned how to make things chase you. I also learned during this project how to import custom 3d models into my VR world.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because they can build a game or tell a story using a simple visual programming interface. I created a game using Cospaces, Which is a programming interface because I had to code my dinosaurs to move and chase you.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the dinosaur chasing you too fast. I was able to do it by going into my code, and changing how many meters he moves in a certain number of seconds. This worked and I made him slower to chase you.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the kind of trees I used. I would change this because they look non-realistic and they look not detailed. I also would change the obstacles of the parkour course. I would change this because when I tried completing it on the iPad, it took me a lot of tries to get to the top, So it might be hard for other people to make it.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in VR Developing because they create virtual reality games or simulations. I created a game during this project. This projects also ties to Helthcare Industry because a virtual reality medical specialist developers virtual reality tools for medical training or surgery simulations.
I really Liked doing this project. It taught me lots of things about the VR World. Hopefully one day I can get a real VR Headset to see my world in VR!
