Using a sphero mini and sphero play app, I created a code because I wanted to code the little robot.
During this process, I learned that you can change the speed of the sphero.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovated designer because we designed codes for the sphero.
A challenge I overcame on this project was connecting it all the time. I was able to do it by staying near the robot.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of the coding. The reason why I would change it is because I want to make it do more things.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering and deisgn CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in coding drones and computers because we code the sphero to do different things .
