REFLECTION

• Using a circuit playground, I created lots of light shows' and sounds because we coded the chips to do colors and different sounds. We also  made a  siren and a flasher thing like on a  police car. I also made clap lights so when you  make a loud sound like  a clap or a snap it will change colors and or make a loud sound.

• During this process, I learned that you can look at videos to see if you can do it then change it up a little  bit. I also learned how to make them make sounds.   I actually learned a lot of things because I have never coded a circuit play ground  before. But some of the main things that I learned was how to make it change colors. Also  I learned how to  make it do a siren sound like on a cop car. And lastly, I learned how to make it so you shake it or make a loud sound the lights will pop  up on the chip and change in to a bunch of different color's.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being a digital citizen because I didn't just copy peoples ideas. It also connects to being a innovated design because I was able to  come up with different ideas to change up the original design.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to figure out what I could make. I was able to do it by  watching videos and looking up how to help me with some things. One more challenge that I over came was trying to connect it to my computer and to make it appear onto my chip. One last challenge that I overcame in this project is  trying to get it to make a sound but I eventually got to it.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the brightness of some of these things. The reason why I would change it is because   On some of the ones like the siren/police flasher.  The light should be brighter and  the sound could be louder also it sounds like a  real police car. I would also change the speed of some of these things.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the  computer programing CTE program at Hastings High School. I was also an impowered learner because  I made codes.  And after I made the codes it went to  the chip  thing.

• My project connects to careers in  coding things to do things like robots because we are coding are chips to do things like  change colors and  make different sounds.  Also because we can change what we can do to get the chip to do what ever you programed it to do. And finally   we where able to do things like  make really loud sounds for ever or just for a little while. The project about  circuit playground all together was pretty fun.
