Using a merge cube I created a story because are project was making a story. And mine was about lots of chickens. But it was on a cube and we made the things on it. And I wanted to have chickens so I just made them take over most of the world.
During this process, I learned how to add stuff to a merge cube. I also learned how to use a merge cube. Lastly, I learned how to video on it too. I also learned one more way to use the snipping tool
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I created a idea and then did it. Also because I came up with an idea for the setting and to do other sides of the cube.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to put stuff on the cube . I was able to do it by asking for a little help and then doing the rest on my own. I also over came trying to record my voice on my iPad because I kept getting other random voices.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of time that I got . The reason why I would change it is because I would have added more details. I also would change a cupple sides of the cube. Also the fact that I just did work on it after school.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programing CTE program at Hastings High School. Why is because we are programming the people. Lastly Technical education because we are learning how to add stuff to the cube.
My project connects to careers in coding because we were coding on are cubes. Also would connect to Engineering and design or Digital multimedia. Why is because we were adding stuff to the cubes and you can only see the stuff on the cubes when you are on some sort of technology such as a iPad or computer.
