Make sure you have your video of a project

• Using an ipad and i movie, I created a about me video because it will show what has changed from last year to this school year. I also created a website page for my video. I did this because it has to be about my video.

• During this process, I learned that it is hard to find a good creative common license picture of a car sometimes. I also learned that you can turn the volume down on just my voice and stuff in the video. I also learned that it is hard to get a good voice over with no background noises.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to  a innovated designer because   I came up with my own ideas.  I also looked at the Mr. Renner website to know more about this.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to find pictures that I can use for my video. I was able to do it by doing some work at home and not just doing it during class. I also overcame trying to  get to one minuet on my video by  adding alot more than what I had at first.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of the pictures I want to get better ones. The reason why I would change it is because sometimes  the pictures are  kind of blurry. I also would change some of the sounds.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the  digital multimedia program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in  editing videos like that you put online because  I was editing to get to a certain time so that way I could do audio on the video. It also connects to movies and stuff because  you are editing to  make the video look good  to  turn it in. Also  to that one because it took a while to  make like a movie.
