Using the 3d printer, I created a volleyball and net that you can piece together because it is a cool and fun way to play  volleyball. I made this because volley ball is fun to do in  and out side.

During this process, I learned it is hard to make a even volleyball net. I also learned that it is not easy to use the scale to  change the height of whatever you are trying to make.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovated designer because we swtuck with the idea.

A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to get the sizes of the pieces to be  able to fit together. I was able to do it by  using a slide scale on both of them  to make it the exact same size.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of my project. The reason why I would change it is because it would be Easter to have a bigger net.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering and design CTE program at Hastings High School.
