Using tinker, I created a chess board Because I thought it was an interesting concept.
During this process, I learned you can't make the board multi colored.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I used a computer to make the little pieces and the board but I had to think about how to make the board.
A challenge I overcame on this project was how I was going to make the board 1 solid color. I was able to do it by making some spots on the board taller that the other spots.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I made the pieces. The reason why I would change it is because some of the pieces could better.
