• For my project, I used iMotion to make a stop motion video of a robbery scene. I thought it would be a cool way to show that stealing is wrong and that if someone decides to rob a place, there will definitely be consequences. I wanted the video to teach a lesson in a fun and creative way, like how robbing can get you into serious trouble, like getting caught by the police or hurting other people. It was fun to make, but also had an important message about making the right choices. 

• While working on this project, I learned a lot of cool stuff. One of the biggest things I learned was how to be creative with Legos. I had to think about how to build everything, like the characters and the background, so it would look good in the video. I also learned how to use the iMotion app, which was new to me. At first it was a little confusing, but after messing around with it, I figured out how to take pictures and turn them into a stop motion video. It took a lot of patience and time, but it was actually really fun, and I’m proud of how it turned out. 

• In our class, we focus on 7 standards: Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. These help us become better with technology and learning. My project connects to digital multimedia because I used iMotion to make a stop motion video that tells a story. I shared my project so other people can watch it and see how I improved during my stop motion journey. It shows how I used my creativity, problem-solving skills, and tech tools to build something from scratch. I think it really fits the standards, especially Creative Communicator and Innovative Designer, because I had to come up with a cool idea and figure out how to make it work with Legos and the app. 

• One of the biggest challenges I had during this project was staying focused. At first, I kept getting distracted and wasn’t really using my time well. Sometimes I’d get off task, start messing with the Legos, or just zone out. But I realized that if I didn’t focus, I wouldn’t finish my video on time. So I decided to lock in and really push myself to stay on track. I made a plan for what I wanted each scene to look like, and I worked hard to follow it. I also tried to block out distractions by putting away things that would get me off task. In the end, I was able to finish everything and I felt good knowing I stayed focused and didn’t give up.

• If I had the chance to do this project again, one thing I would definitely change is adding more pictures. I would also make sure to give myself a lot more time to take the pictures I needed. The reason I would do this is because I think my project wasn’t long enough and didn’t have enough details. More pictures would have made it more interesting and helped explain my topic better. Plus, if I had started earlier, I wouldn’t have felt so rushed at the end. Next time, I’ll plan ahead better and make sure everything looks more complete and cool.
