IMG_0047.MOVUsing the dash and my iPad, I created coding for my dash because I thought that it would be fun to code the dash.
During this process, I learned how to make the dash make different types of sounds.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because I made coding and shared it to the world.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to make it do sounds. I was able to do it by using the instructional videos.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long it took me to do this project. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like I could've done it faster.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in robot engineering because I programed the robot to do what I wanted it to do.
