Using a monitor, I created an airplane because I was in a competition to see who could make the best thing.
During this process, I learned how to disassemble a monitor.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I took apart a monitor.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing what I was gonna make. I was able to do it by looking up ideas.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change The way the plane looks. The reason why I would change it is because it looks more like a flying car.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in engineering because I was able to take apart a monitor and turn it into something new.
