The Trolley..mp4
Reflection.
Using Lego, an iPad, and a Mac mini I created a stop-motion Lego movie about a trolley horror film because I thought it would to work in a big production team and seemed fun.
During this process, I learned how to produce a stop-motion movie.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to Knowledge Constructor because we didn't know how to use the Irig microphone In voice memos but we soon figured it out by searching on Google.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the project done in time. I was able to do it by splitting up the tasks and doing both at the same time. This ended up working, and the project was turned in on time.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the frame rate for the stop-motion video. The reason why I would change it is because the frame rate is prolonged and each photo lasts about 3 seconds which is too long.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. This connects to this CTE program because we used various software to get the project done. Some software includes iMovie, voice memos, and the stop motion program. My project connects to careers in Animation. This is because we produced a stop-motion animation video which tied to jobs in the animation field.
