What we are working on...
We are working on a cheap way to produce vr headsets. By using cardboard it will cost less to produce vr headsets.
It also comes with two controllers that we are working on.

Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
We are working as a team to make this idea a thing.
What materials will you need for your project?
Cardboard, hot glue and tape
What is your plan to create in this project?
Get a box and make a headset.
What unique qualities will your project have?
Being able to use cartages.
We started with a box and put two flaps in the box that in the future will be how the strap connects. We did think that the box was rather heavy so we thought we should cut off the sides but leaving the flaps so there is still a darkness to the box.
We have made a head strap that feels better than the quest stock strap along with a top strap to prevent the headset from falling. We also cut the sides off to reduce weight and add light to the stage. We made a top strap supporter because the top strap kept falling off. This ended up working for the user.
We added our first controller with the tracking rings on the back for proper controller tracking. We got a sharpie and put BOX VR 3001 on the front of the headset.
We added a super hot game on the inside and made a second controller! We tried putting a clear piece of plastic inside of the box but ran out of time. This will not be a discomfort for the user due to the plastic being placed below the nose flap.
We made a second controller and made a game cartage slot for Beatsaber and Superhot!

We finished the video and uploaded the video to our google drive and added it to our website!
Using cardboard glue and plastic, I created The BOXVR3001 because vr headsets are expensive.
During this process, I learned how to use a hot glue gun.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because me and my team designed a vr headset.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to make a headstrap. I was able to do it by Bending cardboard.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how it only fits one person. The reason why I would change it is because other people have tinny or big heads.
