What I am doing.
Me and my friend Weston are going to take apart a generic dell pc tower and put it back together. While we identify the different parts. The end result must function and load windows 10.

I am working in with a partner on this project.
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need a screwdriver, a pc tower and a iPad for documenting the process.
What is your plan to create in this project?
I am going to do a time lapse on a iPad of us taking the pc apart and putting it back together. Along with adding plenty of photos

What unique qualities will your project have?
I will be doing a time lapse which will be unique.

Using a dell optiplex, I created a project where I repair the generic dell pc. because it sounded cool and fun to take apart a pc and fix it. I also filmed the process with Weston's iPad using the camera app.
During this process, I learned how to build a pc better. Before I was new to building pc but now I am better than I was previously. I have now improved on myself in this project.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because we had a issue with the hard drive and didn't know what was wrong with it but a google search later we found out it was missing the hard drive.
A challenge I overcame on this project was installing the power supply . I was able to do it by pushing down on the power supply and it then locked into place.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the video we put on our website. The reason why I would change it is because it was very low quality and was aimed at my iPad running iMovie. instead of having a video I was proud of I had a low quality mess. I am not very happy about the end result. We could've done better if the iPad would let us upload the videos to google drive.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School this is because I am using a variety of electronic devices to get my project done. Like my iPad, the pc we are fixing and a monitor. My project connects to careers in Computer Repair Technicians. This is because they evaluate detects, and troubleshoots the issue just like what we did.
