I am working by myself for this project.
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need the Cricut, an iPad, a pc running windows 10, and a mac mini.
What is your plan to create in this project?
My plan is to make a bumper sticker that says my dad's car made it to the moon in miles. I will be using a mac mini to send the design to the Cricut.
What unique qualities will your project have?
It will be unique because id imagine that not very many people in this class have a dad who has a 2014 Subaru forester that made it to the moon in miles and made it into a sticker.
Reflection
Using the dash robot, I created a really cool battle video because I enjoy producing content in iMovie.
During this process, I learned how to edit in the iMovie Mac version.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to Knowledge Constructor. because I wasn't sure how to load the vinyl into the Cricut so I used Google and figured it out.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to connect to the Cricut. I was able to do it by asking some people how to.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my ways of troubleshooting. The reason why I would change it is because I was afraid to ask how to use the Cricut and tried trial and error.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. This is because we used various software to get our project done. Like Pixlr, Cricut, and Google Chrome. My project connects to careers in Graphic Design. This is because we made a visual concept (image) and printed it out which ties to Graphic Design by definition.
