8P1 Video Project

Reflection.

        Using iMovie, I created a video about my favorite pc components because I really like pcs. And I wanted to give others who watch my video some advice. I hope people will find my video helpful.

• During this process, I learned how to make, edit and voice over in iMovie. I also learned how to edit in iMovie better than 7th grade. I learned a lot on this project.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I didn't know how to change the length of a sound effect but after a quick google search I was able to change the length. This makes my a Knowledge Constructor because I used my resources to help solve my problem.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was changing the length of a sound effect. I was able to do it by using the internet to solve my problem. Google was able to help me figure out the issue.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the music that I used. The reason why I would change it is because I dislike the apple stock music. Insteed I will download a youtube video in mp3 format and add it into my video. That way I have more variety unlike stock music. I will however need to make sure that it is copyright free. 

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers Video Editing.
