Using the embroidery machine, I created a butterfly. Because it was a quick and easy design to demonstrate how to use the machine. I also created a series of videos remonstrating how to use the embroidery machine. everyone did this for the upcoming 8th graders.
During this process, I learned how to take a clear video. Will using the embroidery machine. I also got all the basics down on I movie. Thanks to Mrs. Lennet for teaching me how to use the machine a month ago or I would of been able to do the project.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I picked out my own demonstrations for using the machine by picking and choosing them. I also have never filmed and used a embroidery machine the same time before. That was pretty difficult.
challenge I overcame on this project was videoing and doing the project at the same time. It was even harder because I did the project by myself. I was able to do it by Trinitis help. She filmed will I did the project. She was a lot of help.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change do more design. The reason why I would change it is because it would show you can do more than 1 design on the fabric. It would of also shown how to do that. But I could not because I ran out of time.
