It had a ramp that brought the ball back to you.
I made a list of ten good ideas, answered planning questions and got my partner.
I began my project with my partner and we put a couple of boxes together to get an idea.
We continued working our project and got the basics done with.
We almost finished, and attached the rim. We also made basketballs out of tinfoil.
We reinforced all of the weak spots with more cardboard, and tested it to make sure it will not break.
We stopped adding cardboard and finally finished.

I reflected on what I could've done different and what would work.
Using cardboard, duct tape, popsicle sticks, and a hot glue gun , I created basketball pop-a-shot because my partner and I wanted to make a fun game that we both enjoyed.
During this process, I learned even if it looks fine there might still be a problem you need to fix.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because my partner and I had no picture to get an idea from.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the ball keep getting stuck on the ramp. I was able to do it by adding sides to the ramp so it will always come back to you.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size. The reason why I would change it is because it's really big and it would be cool if I could make it hang on a door.

My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects mechanical engineer to careers in because you build stuff physically. In mechanical engineering you make stuff with labor and mostly done by the person making it.
