Using hot wheels, I created a hot wheels track because I was looking to do something that I haden't done before.
During this process, I learned the hot wheels cars wont stay on the track if it is to steep.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I had to figure out why the car kept falling of halfway down the track.
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to figure out how to keep the track down while te car was going down . I was able to do it by have 4 tablets to hold each side down.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how few loops I had in my track. The reason why I would change it is because the track looks like it somethings more to it.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Autonomous Race Car Engineer (Driver) because I made a whole hot wheels track.
