Using aluminium foil, I created a boat because we were given this as a project and we were testing how much pennies could fit in a aluminium boat.
During this process, I learned if there is a crack between the sides water will be coming in.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I was trying to figure out how to get ride of the gaps in the sides of the boats.
A challenge I overcame on this project was having to much aluminiun foil on the bottom of the boats. I was able to do it by taking my time to make the side the perfect lenght.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the formation of my boat. The reason why I would change it is because I want to try other types of shapes.
