7P2-Cardboard Challenge

I am working in a team.

What materials will you need for your project?

I will need popsicle sticks, cardboard, duck tape, and hot glue.

What is your plan to create in this project?

My plan is to create a shoe that I can put on.

What unique qualities will your project have?

Unique qualities my project has is that you are going to be able to put it on and it is made out of cardboard and duck tape.

• Using cardboard, tape, popsicle sticks, I created shoes because shoes was the first thing we thought of.

• During this process, I learned how to make "yo bros" also known as hey dudes out of cardboard.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because we made shoes with out having to look online for any ideas.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was being patient in what I was doing. I was able to do it by having my friend help me with what I am doing.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the bottom of it so it had more support. The reason why I would change it is because we only had a row of popsicle sticks and cardboard.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to engineering and design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in bottle making.
