Unarmed Drill

Unarmed Drill Team is a competitive JROTC team that values discipline, teamwork, accountability, and—most importantly—effort. How much you put in determines what you get back—the harder you work, the more rewarding your experience becomes.

Beyond simple marching, we focus on performing creative drill routines at competitions, all of which are developed from scratch by the team. Drill Team is also a fantastic way to build leadership skills, as cadets have the opportunity to lead and drill one another.

Our competition team is made up of a dedicated group of hard-working cadets who represent the best of our team, and the awards we earn are great for college applications. Last year, our team placed third in the Sweepstakes Novice Unarmed Drill Inspection—an impressive achievement given it was only our second year competing.

Beyond the leadership and team-building aspects, Drill Team also offers unique perks—members can customize their uniforms for competitions with items like berets, gloves, and alternate pants to stand out, and they earn a competition ribbon at the end of the year. All we look for is the right attitude; if you’re willing to try, we’re more than happy to have you.
