Learning Culture
Each grade level supports the mission and vision of Park Elementary by focusing on interdisciplinary experiences integrated with fine arts, math, science, and technology areas. As a school, vertical planning helps to align grade level PBL opportunities for students while meeting appropriate state standards. Teachers, Paraprofessionals, School District Staff, Community Members, Local Artists, and Local Business Members work together to create a culture of learning.
The ABC's of STEAM
Park students completed a school-wide project called the ABC’s of STEAM. Each class researched local artists, builders and composers that began with their selected letter of the alphabet and presented their findings through Google Slides. Now, using a QR code, students and visitors can select a key from the “Giant Chromebook” to view each presentation.
