ERB Secure Browser

• The ERB Secure Browser is used to take the CTP standardized test online. 

• It locks your laptop down so you cannot access other programs while you are using it. 

• Before using the ERB Secure Browser:

  • Restart our laptop

  • Quit ALL programs that you have open.  If you look at the DOCK any apps that have a little dot underneath them are open and need to be closed.

1.  Click on the Privacy Tab

2.  Scroll down until you see Automation and select it.

3.  Check the box beside  System Events  underneath ERB Secure Browser

• Finder > Applications > Manager 

• Suggested Apps > Scroll down and click on Install under ERB Secure Browser (NOT ERB ISEE Secure Browser)

• When app icon looks normal it is fixed.  You must KEEP your laptop open and connected to the Internet. 

Issue:  You failed to click allow on either of these two dialog boxes when you first launched the ERB Secure Browser:

Solution:

• Apple Menu (top left) > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Automation > check the box under ERB Secure Browser

• Apple Menu (top left) > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Files and Folders > check the box under ERB Secure Browser
