The ERB Secure Browser is used to take the CTP standardized test online.
It locks your laptop down so you cannot access other programs while you are using it.
Before using the ERB Secure Browser:
Restart our laptop
Quit ALL programs that you have open. If you look at the DOCK any apps that have a little dot underneath them are open and need to be closed.
Closing the ERB Secure Browser
While the program is open, click the Close button on the right
You must select 3 keys from the keyboard: control + shift + Q
Solution: You need to grant the ERB Secure Browser System Event permissions in the Automation section of the Security & Privacy of the System Preferences
Open System Preferences
Open Security & Privacy
Click on the Privacy Tab
Scroll down until you see Automation and select it.
Check the box beside System Events underneath ERB Secure Browser
Solution: You need to reinstall the ERB Secure Browser .
Finder > Applications > Manager
Suggested Apps > Scroll down and click on Install under ERB Secure Browser (NOT ERB ISEE Secure Browser)
When app icon looks normal it is fixed. You must KEEP your laptop open and connected to the Internet.
Solution: Open System Preferences and grant the permissions.
Issue: You failed to click allow on either of these two dialog boxes when you first launched the ERB Secure Browser:

Apple Menu (top left) > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Automation > check the box under ERB Secure Browser
Apple Menu (top left) > System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Files and Folders > check the box under ERB Secure Browser
