I hope everyone has had a chance to thaw out after the winter blasts we’ve experienced lately! Growing up in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee, winter weather was simply a way of life for several months each year. While I’ve always loved the snow (and always will), I’ll admit—I’m ready for spring 😊.
We are excited about the progress we are making with our Spring STEAM initiative, which gives students the opportunity to truly explore their passion. The goal is to ignite curiosity at a level that we hope will spill over into all aspects of your child’s learning experience.
I encourage you, as parents, to ask your students about what they are working on (if you haven’t already) and help foster that curiosity and those dreams. Your support and encouragement make a tremendous difference.
Please don’t hesitate to let us know if we can ever be of service to you.

Mr. Irwin is willing to help out with anything and isn't afraid of a new challenge. He is available to help with any problem you can throw at him. If he doesn't know the answer, then he will find you someone who does. Mr. Irwin brightens the day of anyone he encounters. He is always willing to help no matter the problem and the students who have his class speak very highly of him.
Jessica is always willing to go to bat for teachers and students. She is passionate about learning and helping others. Anytime I ask for her help, she goes above and beyond to make sure that I get what I need. She is very knowledgeable about reading and writing and is my main go-to for those things. She is such an asset to our school. She’s always helpful, always dependable, and such a blessing to our team! Mrs. Catrett has been so wonderful to help coordinate materials for everyone this year. She is a true blessing.
