Ask Your Teen to Teach You Some Lessons
When schoolwork gets harder, students’ families are not always sure how to help.
One of the best ways offer support is to ask your teen to teach you the material.
Have your teen show you how to work a math problem. Ask for a demonstration of a science concept. Inquire about an historical event. Or, have your teen explain the meanings of new terms or vocabulary words.
Each time students share new knowledge, two things happen:
They get more excited about learning. Your interest in schoolwork increases your teen's interest in it.
They reinforce what they have learned. The more your teen explains or demonstrates important information, the easier it will be to recall it later.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Middle School Athletics: Hall County School District Middle School Sporting Events will have an admission price of $5 per ticket. There will be a flat fee of $15 for a family of three or more.
Car Rider Procedures:
In the morning, we will only have 1 line. This will allow our staff to enter the parking lot. Please do not pass the car in line in front of you as students may be exiting on the driver's side. We want all students to arrive safely. In the afternoon, we will have 2 lines to get traffic off Fran Mar as soon as possible. We will merge in a zipper format in the afternoon at the indicated merge point. Thank you!
Insurance:
The HCSD offers student insurance through the company, Student Assurance Services. This insurance is supplemental to a family’s primary provider and will assist with added costs in certain situations. For more details, please refer to…

ATTENDANCE COUNTS : Please ensure that your student is present at school each and every day possible from the beginning of the school day until the last bell. Schedule appointments after school or on the weekends if possible.

Pídele a Tu Adolescente que te Enseñe a Tí Algunas Lecciones
Cuando las tareas escolares se complican, familias de estudiantes no siempre saben cómo ayudar.
Una de las mejores maneras de brindar apoyo es pedirle a tu adolescente que te explique la materia.
Pídele a tu adolescente que te muestre cómo resolver un problema de matemáticas. Pídele que te demuestre un concepto científico. Pregúntale sobre un evento histórico. O bien, pídele que te explique el significado de términos o palabras nuevas.
Cada vez que estudiantes comparten nuevos conocimientos, suceden dos cosas:
Se entusiasman más con el aprendizaje. Tu interés en las tareas escolares aumenta el interés de tu adolescente en ellas.
Refuerzan lo que han aprendido. Cuanto más explique o demuestre tu adolescente información importante, más fácil resultará recordarla después.
INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE:
Atletismo en Escuelas Intermedias: Los Eventos Deportivos de Escuelas Intermedias del Distrito Escolar del Condado de Hall tendrán un precio de entrada de $5 por boleto. Habrá una tarifa fija de $15 para una familia de tres o más.
Procedimientos para Pasajeros por Carro:
Por la mañana, solo tendremos 1 línea. Esto permitirá que nuestro personal ingrese al estacionamiento. Por favor, no pase el automóvil en línea frente a usted ya que los estudiantes pueden estar saliendo del lado del conductor. Queremos que todos los estudiantes lleguen seguros. Por la tarde dispondremos de 2 líneas para sacar el tráfico de Fran Mar lo antes posible. Vamos a confluir en formato cremallera por la tarde en el punto de fusión indicado. ¡Gracias!
