Parent & Famlily Engagment
One of our School Improvement Plan (SIP) goals for the 2024-2025 school year is to increase Parent & Family Engagement across the school. Education researcher John Hattie found that parental engagement in a child's education has a consistent effect size of 0.50 on student achievement. What this means is that when parents and schools partner, communicate and work together to educate a child, the growth is greater than if the parent and school are NOT partners. We are striving to partner with parents and families in an intentional way. We know our students successes depend on the partnership we share. With that being said, we are hosting Math & Literacy Workshops throughout the school year for families to attend. The first ones will be held September 9th & 11th from 10:45 to 11:30. Please join us for this time of learning and partnership. To the left, you will see the flyers for the workshops which includes a QR code to respond with your attendance. We look forward to building a partnership that will help ALL students succeed!
