Georgia Department of Education Family Survey
Bobcat Families are asked to complete a Family Survey each year. This survey is important to us because it helps us measure what our families think about the school and helps us make decisions and improvements in the school. We value your input and feedback. and it is very important that we receive as many returned surveys as possible. The survey is HERE and should only take 5-10 minutes of your time so we would GREATLY appreciate your help if you can take the time to complete it!! We appreciate you and your feedback.

A las familias Bobcat se les pide que completen una Encuesta familiar cada año. A Season of Giving and Service
For the Month of November we focused on serving and giving to others. We asked families and staff to ask our children the following questions at school and when they came home from school each day. "Who did you help today? , "How did you help someone today? or "What did you do to help someone with something today?" Faculty and staff at Sardis were focused on giving and serving others and by that we mean thinking of others a little bit more than we thought about ourselves. We are thankful that you joined us in this season of serving and focusing on helping others. We look forward to a great holiday season.
Una Temporada de Generosidad y Servicio
Para el mes de noviembre nos gustaría enfocarnos en servir y dar a otros. Por favor considere hacerle a su hijo(a) una de las siguientes preguntas cuando regrese de la escuela cada día. "¿A quién ayudaste hoy? ¿Cómo ayudaste a alguien hoy? o ¿Qué hiciste para ayudar a alguien con algo hoy?" La facultad y el personal aquí en Sardis se están enfocando en dar y servir a los demás y con eso queremos decir que pensamos en los demás un poco más de lo que pensamos en nosotros mismos. Por favor, únase a nosotros en la temporada de generosidad y centrarse en ayudar a los demás. ¡¡Estamos esperando un mes de servicio y agradecimiento!!

We would like to have your help decorating our Sardis Family Christmas Tree again this year. If you would like to send in an ornament, either bought or handmade, we will add it to our Sardis Family Tree. YOUR ornaments WILL be returned to you. Please put your child's first and last name as well as their teachers name on the back of the ornament. This tree is on display in the front entrance hallway!!
Cookies With Santa
We look forward to our annual Cookies With Santa event on Friday, Dec. 6 from 5:30pm to 7:30 pm.

MAP Growth testing is just around the corner. Students in grades K-5 will take middle of the year MAP growth assessments beginning Monday, December 9 to 13. Please be sure your children are at school and on time each day. If your child is sick and must be absent, they will make-up their assessment when they return. to school. Here is more information about MAP testing, what it encompasses and information for parents and families.
