The annual Dorney Park trip, taking place June 13th, is coming up for our Freshmen and Sophomore classes here at Hackettstown. This amusement park is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, about an hour and a half away from the school. The excursion is full of exciting activities, including amusement park rides, water attractions, and carnival games. Students are able to spend their entire day with friends exploring the park and having a good time!
This trip aims to fundraise for the Freshmen and Sophomore classes of the year. Run by Mr. Kobovitch and Ms. Rood, this outing has developed into an amusing tradition for the younger HHS classes and provided students with something to look forward to. The amusement park is full of various activities for patrons to partake in. For thrill seekers, the rides such as “Steel Force," “Hydra," and “Talon” never disappoint and provide a terrifyingly exciting experience. For those who do not find fun in thrills, there are many other ways to entertain yourself, from the multitude of games and challenges to a variety of restaurant options. Overall, this trip is a very enjoyable experience that many here at Hackettstown High School are eagerly waiting for!
