Czechia Knowledge

The family has been living in England for over twenty years, but they originally come from Poland. Because of that, they feel culturally close to the Czech Republic. They haven’t visited Czechia yet, but they know a bit about the country and its traditions. They've always wanted to go there, but one of their friends once had a bad experience which was that he wasn’t allowed to enter because his hair color didn’t match the one in his passport photo. Even so, the family still hopes to visit Czechia one day and learn more about the culture.

Local Pride
The family told us that Cornwall has many beautiful places to visit. When we were going to the Eden Project, they said it was really lovely there and mentioned that there are birds that look like mangos because they are colorful, round, and so cute that you just want to eat them! Every day, they told us a bit about the places we were going to see, which made the trips even more interesting. The story about the mango-like birds was definitely our favorite.

Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the birds in real life, which was a bit of a disappointment. We only saw pictures of them on signs around the Eden Project. We hope to come back one day and see them for real.
