LAND’S END
Petrovská Ella + Čáslavová Elen
On our trip to Cornwall, England, we visited the most westerly point of mainland England: Land’s end.
It’s a headland and a tourist complex in the southwest, known for its strong sea winds, dramatic cliffs, and breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Besides admiring the landscape, you can spend time in local souvenir shops.
The place has a unique charm and mysterious yet peaceful atmosphere. One can feel a bit melancholic there. The view of the endless sea just makes you feel like the place is timeless - almost ethereal. However, it’s very windy, so we would recommend dressing warmly and wearing something to protect your ears.
Overall we really enjoyed our visit - it was our favourite. The dramatic cliffs and deep blue ocean truly won our hearts. We hope this wasn’t our last time visiting the area.
