This video showcases the ensemble performances from the VCE Drama class of 2019. The students were given the stimulus of the "Teenagers". Students developed and created all aspects of the performance. They developed the content of the play, the costumes, props, set, lighting plan, sound as well as developing skills in directing, editing and presenting their performances.
This unit focuses on eclectic drama from a diverse range of contemporary and cultural performance traditions. Eclectic performance styles and associated conventions are explored in the creation, development and presentation of an ensemble performance Semester 1 and a solo performance Semester 2. Collaboration to create, develop and present ensemble performance is central to both performance. Students use and manipulate dramatic elements, expressive skills and performance styles to enhance performance. They also select production areas and conventions as appropriate to the performances. Additionally, students document and evaluate stages involved in the creation, development and presentation of the ensemble performance.
