Student Success | Grades 10-12

This course is designed to give students an opportunity to remediate credit during the regular school year. Students will be placed in the class based on credit needs and graduation status. Students work using an online platform to remediate necessary credit. 

Peer Tutor / Teacher's Assistant | Grade 12

In order to enroll in a peer tutor period, students must satisfy the following requirements:

There will be one peer tutor, per teacher, per class period.

Unscheduled Period | Grade 12

In order to enroll in an unscheduled period, students must satisfy the following requirements:

Music/Musicianship - Guitar| Grade 9-12 | F

Music/Musicianship - Guitar is a course designed to introduce students to music theory, notation, and fundamentals leading to skills-based assessments of rhythmic performance. Students will then be introduced to fundamentals of guitar playing and performance. This course will include an introduction to the history of Western Art Music as well as Jazz and Rock’n Roll. 


Intro to Band| Grade 9-12

Intro to Band is an entry level band course. Band I will focus on the reading of music notation and instrumental fundamentals. This ensemble will be included in marching/performing activities with a limited repertoire and a truncated performance schedule (fewer mandatory performances). There are a limited number of school instruments and instrument preferences are not guaranteed; however, most students supply their own instruments and must maintain their instrument in performance condition. Currently there is no lab fee, but students must purchase valve oil, reeds, grease, etc. for their instrument. This class meets the fine art requirement for graduation.



AP Psychology| Grade 11-12

AP Psychology is an introductory college-level psychology course. Students cultivate their understanding of the systematic and scientific study of human behavior and mental processes through inquiry-based investigations as they explore concepts like the biological bases of behavior, sensation and perception, learning and cognition, motivation, developmental psychology, testing and individual differences, treatment of abnormal behavior, and social psychology.
