This course is designed to give students an opportunity to remediate credit during the regular school year. Students will be placed in the class based on credit needs and graduation status. Students work using an online platform to remediate necessary credit.
In order to enroll in a peer tutor period, students must satisfy the following requirements:
Be in grade 12
Receive written permission from the teacher for whom the student wishes to peer tutor.
There will be one peer tutor, per teacher, per class period.
In order to enroll in a flex period, students must satisfy the following requirements:
Be in grade 12
Be on track to graduate
A-G eligible
CTE completer or Dual Enrollment
Provide prior written permission from parent/guardian
Receive permission from their assigned counselor
Flex periods will be available during 1st and 7th period only.
*Deviation from these guidelines must be approved by the Administration.
This course is designed for first-year agriculture students interested in business, animal science, plant science, floral design, and horticulture science. Content areas include California agriculture, FFA, leadership, public speaking, record keeping, animal science, and plant science. This course provides hands-on learning and qualifies students to participate in all FFA activities, such as showing at the county fair.
