WELCOME CLASS OF 2028
At Santana High School we pride ourselves on being a friendly and open school that offers a high-quality education for all our students. Our 9th graders will be supported to ensure a smooth transition into high school and will experience success to build a foundation that enables them to excel throughout high school and beyond. We have a strong commitment to excellence in education, which is reflected by the quality curricular and co-curricular programs and activities here at Santana High. We offer tours throughout the year, which you can book through the school office.

STEP 1: Online Registration
We want to extend an enthusiastic welcome to you and your student to Santana High School.
Registration can be completed in three steps:
YOU MUST COMPLETE ONLINE REGISTRATION (OLR) before your child is considered enrolled.
Failure to complete OLR may result in a delay in your student's start in August.
Parents will also create a Parent Campus Portal account after submitting online registration- Report cards are only available on the Parent campus Portal.
STEP 2 : Course Selection Sheet
COURSE SELECTION SHEETS: All Course Selection Sheets will be delievered to our local Middle School Campuses in March of 2024.

If we are not visiting your students middle school, call (619) 956-0200 or visit Santana's Student Services building. Pick up a new student packet. Make an appointment to meet with an academic advisor to go over your students course selection sheet.

STEP 3: Freshman Documents Drop-off
Attend Document Drop-Off Day on May 29th from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in front of the Student Services Building in front of Santana
(ONLY IF YOU WERE UNABLE TO UPLOAD DOCUMENTS) during online registration OR email documents to shsrecords@guhsd.net
Please bring or email mandatory items:
Emergency Information Health Card ( yellow- included in the information packet)
Acknowledgment of Receipt of documents ( buff-included in the information packet)
Birth Certificate
Immunization records (entire record)
TWO Proofs of residency ( rental agreement, driver's license, property tax, utility bills, etc.)
** If you lost your registration packet you can get a new one at the Student Services building at Santana between 8:00 AM -4:00 PM.

STEP 4: LINK DAY
Incoming 9th grade Students are encouraged to attend Link Day on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Freshman meet at the Gym (Bring an empty back pack).

Get a campus tour
Get a yearbook photo taken
Get their schedule
Get their Chromebook
Get an ID Card
This is a fun morning to prepare for the First Day of School - Monday, August 12, 2024!
