5 Star and Loss of Privilege
What is the 5 Star Student’s app? It is a free app students can download on their phone that gives students a virtual ID, which enables them to access hall passes for class, view upcoming school activities and events, and receive school news and notifications. If a student does not have 5 Star, they can access their virtual ID on their Chromebook as well.
Students on the LOP list risk being excluded from participation in extracurricular activities such as:
Homecoming, Winter Formal, and Prom activities, Athletic events
Field trips unrelated to curriculum such as Grad Night
Potential loss of playing time for athletes, band, cheer, or club activities
Students can be removed from the LOP list by serving detention. Detentions are held before and after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. If a student has a conflict or question, they can see Mrs. Clark in the Student Services Building.
