When we read books like 'MY EXPERIMENTS WITH TRUTH', we get an inspiration to help others . The book that inspired me to help others is 'MY EXPERIMENTS WITH TRUTH' written by Mahatma Gandhi . It's an autobiography that teaches how Mahatma Gandhi helped the untouchables, what problems he faced and how he overcame those etc.

Everyone should know how to read because only when we know something we can help and teach others. Reading invites us to help others. If possible even we can take some time out and teach and educate children whose parents cannot afford much. Everybody must invite someone who needs our help in reading and understanding for the better future and progress of the country.

We all love helping others but how do we help others???? That is by reading. Someone said "If an educated man reads, he can make thousands uneducated men read" and that is what I believe. Books on Mother Teresa, Swami Vivekanand etc. tell us a lot about helping others. Yesterday only I read an article which was about a man who lives in Banaras ( a city in Uttar Pradesh, India). He is a doctor who just charges a few penny and treats people at a very less price. And all the money he earns, he donates it in charity, organises free food service programmes and much more. Such a great man, right??? That is what reading tells us and motivates us to help others.

'The Giving Tree' by Shel Silverstein is a very touching book. It shows how a mother helps her children and others as she gives whatever she could. She gives everything until she is left with nothing . She is the one who gives her heart and soul for her children. This book shows the mother's love for her children. Also, it showcases a tree as a mother which donates everything for people's benefit. Therefore, a tree is a true helper and it gives us the inspiration to help others too.
