Jojo's bizarre adventure has eight parts in the manga. They consist of the main characters, each called jojo because their first name and last name start with Jo. The manga follows each of the jojo's adventures. In the first two parts of jojo they use hamon sunlight powers to defeat vampires and pillar men. In the rest of the parts of jojo they use the power of their stands, stands are beings that fight by their side to battle other stand users. Overall the manga is very good and I recommend it. 10/10. There is also an anime adaptation.

Persona 5: Manga
Review by Jose Z, proof read by Hayden L.
The Persona 5 manga (seinen) is an adaption of the video game "Persona 5" by Atlus Co. which follows a Japanese high school boy named Akira Kurusu. He was blamed for an unfair encounter set in modern-day Tokyo. Akira, unlike many protagonists, is more timider and reserved than other protagonists in seinen which makes this manga very unique. Akira, in the beginning of the story, finds out about another realm where you can learn to control your own soul and desires unleashing your "persona". However, in this realm you can also find materialized versions of other people's desires. If someone's desires are very evil, it materializes as a palace where untamed personas called shadows roam. A treasure is also materialized hidden somewhere in the palace and if it is stolen then the palace collapses and the host of the palace has a change of heart. At the start of the manga, Akira is seen in an interrogation room where he is drugged, beat, and forced to sign his name for a false confession. It is later revealed that Akira is under probation after confronting a man who was assaulting a woman and was brought to the interrogation room for "stealing someone's heart" (stealing someone's treasure in their palace thus giving them a change of heart). This sets the tone of injustice for the rest of the manga, making you almost feel disgusted at the rest of the unfair events of the story. Persona shows some very serious topics but this helps to add to the justice-bringing like plot. This manga is very well thought out and there's so much more that is too hard for me to talk about. I'd give the manga a full 10/10.
Sword art online is about a boy named Kirito who goes inside a VR RPG game but finds himself trapped inside. The creator of the game appeared and told everyone that if you die in the game you die in real life, and you can't get out. The only way to get out is to beat 100 levels of the game and everyone gets out. After Kirito finds the identity of the game developer he defeats him freeing everyone. This manga is very good, it consists of two more parts. 8/10 I would recommend.

Yu-Gi-Oh is about a boy named Yugi Moto, which puts together an ancient puzzle which is called the Millennium Puzzle. It is part of seven Millennium Items that altogether are very powerful; once one person has all seven in their possession. The characters have decks of cards. They battle with using a battle disc. The disc makes a holographic image of the monster pictured on the card. People can battle each other with certain rules. One rule is that you always start with four thousand life points. Another rule is that every time your opponent attacks you or you attack your opponent directly, they lose as many life points as you have hit points for that monster. (This is both a book series and a TV series.)

BIG NATE
The comic book Big Nate has been a big part of my childhood. Every Big Nate book is a national treasure with collections of Lincoln Pierce's comic strips, some of them go on for 5 pages with other going on for 1 or just half a page. Most of Big Nate's humor is elementary level so this book may be better for Kindergarten-5th graders, but anyone can read this book and not get bored instantly. This book is a nice selection because it can entertain readers of all different age groups. Overall book rating 10/10. You can read Big Nate here, https://www.gocomics.com/bignate/2020/02/140

SQUISH
Squish is a science-fiction about a bacteria living in a pond. The bacteria's name is squish and he lives a normal life, going to school, chilling with friends, and reading comic books. The thing that makes this graphic novel series interesting is that the conflicts are based on real life science. I highly recommend this book series. It's entertaining, not too long, and a great way to pass time. Overall book rating 9/10. You can learn more about squish here, https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/series/SQH/squish

MASTERMINDS
The book "Masterminds" by Gordan Korman is one of the best books I have ever read. This book is about a group of kids that live in a secluded city were nothing bad happens. After the main characters best friend is sent off to a boarding school, he found a note from him leading to believe the town is hiding something. The main characters name is Eli Frieden, the plot of the 3 books is him and his friends trying to solve their towns biggest mystery. This book series story unfolds in very satisfyingly way I would rate these books 10/10.
The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind
The book "The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind" by William Kamkwamba, and Bryan Mealer is one of the best books that I have read. This book is about a boy named William Kamakwamba who is a fourteen year old in the town of Malawi, which is a rural area and is suffering a drought.William wants to go to school, but instead he sneaks in to the library after classes. He loves Windmills so he makes a windmill to stop the drought and does many other things that his tribe underestimates him of.SO I LOVE THIS BOOK AND I GIVE IT 10/10.
I read the story' The Homecoming' by Rabindranath Tagore. I enjoyed many things about the story. One of which was the drama. There was a lot of drama in this particular story that made you want to read on. For example, when Phatik was kicked out of his house and sent to his uncle's house. This part of the story intrigued me to want to know what happens next. Also, another example of drama is when Phatik was on the brink of death. Drama was the only thing I enjoyed about this story though. I also very much enjoyed the ending. The ending was happy but also funny. The ending was painful because he stated that the holidays were there and he wanted to go home finally. He dies at the end.
The book series named, "Goosebumps" is a page turning, frightening, plot-twitsted series. At almost every chapter their is a cliffhanger that urges you to turn the page. This book series is also very frightening though. It has characters from 12 year-old boys to talking dummies. All of these books are created from the same author, R.L. Stine. These kind of book is enjoyable for ages 8+. I also enjoy these books for their endings. The endings always leave you with so many questions and encourage you to read the next book of the series. Something that I already brought up, but is very creative, is the characters. The characters that R.L. Stine created are very creative and are one of the reasons I read the book series.

"Wonder" is a novel which is a sheer example of will power and determination . August , because of his facial deformity faces a lot of criticism when he attends school for the first time after being home schooled for almost his entire life. He struggles to make many friends but the ones that do accept his friendship are there by his side throughout the story. This novel is named WONDER because the lives of many more people are depicted through the story but out of all of them, Auggie is the one who is able to make through the year happily and successfully. It is truly said that "Where there's a will, there's a way." R.J. Palecio has made sure that this message is conveyed properly by her book.
I can’t think of words that would do justice to this book. It’s such a mind blowing novel that it conveys a simple but powerful message. Once you start reading it, you will be blown away and get carried away in the emotions, wave after wave, page after page. So, this is a story of a wonder kid: August Pullman a.k.a. as Auggie. He was born with a craniofacial abnormality which was so radical that his face would cause the person seeing him to scream or even faint. So, by reading this book we can find out how Auggie rides his journey of life from being the freak to eventually being accepted as “the nicest Auggie Doll in the world.”
It was a wonderful book to read .It deals with something we all many a times suffer from, a person with problems is not bad we should not judge people by their looks but from the attitude towards us. Even the cover of the book is very significant. Though the author is not too famous but has written a wonderful book which very well holds true in human life especially children.
The character I preferred the most is August "Auggie" Pullman is the principle hero in Wonder. He was brought into the world with a facial disfigurement, a mix of Treacher Collins disorder and a hemifacial microsomia, which kept him from setting off to a standard school up until the fifth grade when he enlisted at Beecher Prep.
