During September and October, we were assigned a team for the collaboration project. We did a research work about the team we were assigned to collaborate with. In the instance, we got assigned to a team in New Delhi so we talked about the five themes of New Delhi in our research project. The main idea of the research project was to learn more about their state. After researching about New Delhi, we teamed up on a platform called Edmodo. On Edmodo, students from both teams wrote a few sentences about themselves. We did this to introduce ourselves to each other.

To conclude October, our class started to discuss our website more. Some things we discussed included the title, what the tabs should be and genres. Early November we started to take action. However, we didn't start the actual website. Our partners in India had already started the same and they have worked a bit on the website. Also, in November we began to write down some tabs, genres, and titles. Our partners and our class have also communicated through Skype. Lastly, our class asked questions during the Skype. Some topics were about things such as grading, their school, and their country. Also, the teacher that Skyped with us from India (Ms. Rooma) supplemented some genres and thoughts about this website. We shared a lot of ideas that can be incorporated in the website.

To start off December , we started to post more on Edmodo. Our team posted famous quotes or made our own. Some of the students wrote a quote on paper, colored it, and then post it on Edmodo. By mid-December, our team in India had already posted a lot on Edmodo and started the website. Then, for a while, we didn’t do much. But, in mid-January, we started to take action on the website. Our team started to make the tabs on the website and think of the layout. Finally when January was ending, our team started to engage more on actually writing on the website. We wrote reflections on what we’ve done so far. Also, writing in the tabs such as, “Reading Brings Us Together,” and “Reading Informs Us.” Our team has also done book reviews on each other's favorite and inspiring stories as suggested by one to the other. Meanwhile our partner friends from India had already done a major part on the tabs as we were informed that they have their term end exams in late February. They also invited an author and organised various competitions to inculcate the habit of reading and show its importance to the students. Also, they organised ' One Nation Reading Together' programme.

Starting in February, our team started to really make the website look visually appealing and filled. Some children in the U.S. classroom started to make more art for book reviews. Towards the end of February, the website was almost full of pictures . Ms. Deborah of JCD STEM school had a brainstorming session on the topic with the students of the partner school. Adding on, to start March, our team was putting in some extra effort because the deadline was near. Now, in March, everything was decked up with word art book reviews, short quizzes, poems, or even stories that our team had created. The team in India had started this story and it was the team in the U.S. that had to add on to it. The team in India also encouraged the team in the U.S. to write more poems. Poems can do many things like telling a story or even bringing us together. Lastly, the overall website was gradually being more organized. For example, there is now a bar that shows all of the pages we have created. Also, each new paragraph of a page is more spaced out, causing the page to be easier to read. Adding on, there are also pictures that are mostly orginal (created from students) behind each paragraph of a page. These pictures are engaging and adjusted for readibility so they look neat and professinal.
