Sex Education

Sex education is taught by district-certified sex education instructors for 2 weeks during a student's PE 1 class. Male and female students are taught separately and follow a district-approved curriculum. 

2024-25 Instruction Dates:

Semester 1:  Semester 1:  September 17-September 27

Semester 2: Semester 2: February 11-February 24

Parent Preview

Parents may preview the lesson topics and general outline through the district website or they may come to the school and preview the lesson details and videos at any time during school hours. 

Parents may opt out their child out of the program by coming to the school and filling out the appropriate paperwork. Students will be given an alternative assignment to work on during that time.
