CAFETERIA

Food and Nutrition Services expects payment either in advance or at the point of service. Students at high schools and adults at all locations are not allowed to charge meals. If parents or guardians find it impossible to pay for student meals, please apply for free and reduced meals by completing an application available from the Cafeteria Manager. 

The following meal prices have been approved by the School Board: 

Lunch    Breakfast

Reduced Student     Reduced Student

Adult Lunch     Adult Breakfast

Students should go through the doors indicated to pick-up their food. Courtesy and consideration for others should always be observed. Students are reminded to leave all tables clean and throw away their trash.

Students who break in line, uses someone else’s ID, or don't throw away their trash will be subject to disciplinary action. 

Students not cleaning their eating area may be subject to cafeteria duty or some other disciplinary action. 

BOOK BAGS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE CAFETERIA DURING LUNCH. They should be left in the student’s class before going to lunch. They may not be left in the hallway outside the cafeteria or in the front office. 

FOOD DELIVERIES: Food deliveries (Fast Food, etc.,) will not be allowed for any student. Students may not be called out of class for a food delivery. No food shall be eaten in the Main Office Holding Area. 

Free and Reduced Meal (FARMS) Applications- FARMS applications are still required to be made available to students. Free or Reduced meal status, determined by a FARMS application or Direct Certification by the SC Department of Education, is a requirement to receive the Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) cards that will be distributed by the SC Department of Social Services to eligible families. Paper FARMS applications will be sent to schools by August 2nd. Online FARMS applications are currently available on the FANS website.

In order to purchase a meal from the Fountain Inn High School cafeteria, students will need to present their student ID. Food and Nutrition Services expects payment either in advance or at the point of service. Students at high schools and adults at all locations are not allowed to charge extra food, drink, or meals. 

The Free and Reduced School Meal (FARMS) application should be completed each year by each student. This form should be completed and submitted within the first ten days of school.
