How to Check Grades

Step 1. Know where each teacher updates grades

(especially because it may differ between teachers!)

IMPORTANT:

Often, Teachers will assign work on Google Classroom, but post grades for work on Schoolwise.

If you are looking to see what assignments/tests are missing and need to be made up, look on Schoolwise to see what doesn't have a grade or has a grade of M (for missing)!

Google Classroom

Go to https://classroom.google.com
Click into the class you want to check the grade of.
Go to the 'Classwork' Tab
Click the 'View Your Work' button to see a breakdown of the assignments and your current percentage grade

Work marked as 'missing' means that the 'turn in' button on the assignment has not been clicked
Work marked as 'turned in' has been submitted for teacher review, but has not yet been graded

Schoolwise

Go to https://grav.schoolwise.com/ and use your log-in.
You should see an overview of all of your grades for your classes. Click on the name of the class to view a breakdown of the assignments that have gone into earning your current grades

Work marked as 'M' is missing
Work that does not have a score next to it has either not been graded or has not yet turned in and has yet to be marked as missing

Don't have a schoolwise account?

Go to Parent Signup on https://grav.schoolwise.com
Choose the 'I do not have an Activation Code' option and click Continue
Fill out the information asked for and submit the request.
Check your email for the Activation Code.
Once you've received it, copy the code and go back to Parent Signup
This time choose 'I have an Activation Code' and type or paste in the activation code from your email and click continue!

If you're a parent, there may be additional online registration forms that become available once you're created your account. Ifyou have any questions about those, check in with the Hillcrest Front Office.

If you're a student, ask one of your teachers to set up your account if you do not have a schoolwise account. If you have an account but can't remember the password, ask the front office or Ms. Cole to help you get into your account.
